国家特聘专家,国家海外高层次人才计划入选者,973首席科学家,享受国务院特殊津贴(2014年),甘肃省政协委员,甘肃省可穿戴装备重点实验室主任,甘肃省领军人才,瑞士苏黎世联邦理工学院客座教授;IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Systems主编,IEEE Fellow,IET Fellow,AAIA Fellow,Chair of TC Computational Psychophysiology, IEEE SMC;教育部计算机学科教指委委员、科技委委员;国际社会神经科学中国分会副主席,ACM中国分会常务理事,中国科学院脑科学与智能技术卓越创新中心客座研究员等。

在第431次香山科学会议(2012年)上首次提出了“心理生理计算”理论,确立了针对认知功能和心理状态的数据驱动研究方法(科技日报,2012)。在Science(Oct.2, 2015)特刊“Advances in Computational Psychophysiology”上,美国科学院、医学院两院院士M. I. Posner教授评价:“心理生理计算将引领新的研究热潮”。

在国际期刊、学术会议上发表论文400余篇,出版英文专著3部,中文专著1部,申请专利30余项,获授权专利24项。担任了如Brain Informatics, CSCW, UbiComp等60多个国际会议主席或组委会主席,并应60多个国际会议和高水平大学的邀请做主题演讲。任Science特刊Advances in ComputationalPsychophysiology客座编辑,IEEE Transactions on ComputationalSocial Systems主编;IEEE Transactions Affective Computing等SCI收录国际期刊编委。
